Domestic Applicants:
- A Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Completion of the following undergraduate courses:

International Applicants:
- A Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Completion of the following undergraduate courses:

- Official transcripts for all post-secondary studies.
- Proof of English language proficiency (see Language Proficiency Requirements below).
- A valid study permit if required.
- Applicants with relevant work experience in the field of settlement and immigration may be considered for admission even if they do not meet all of the academic requirements.
- Applicants with a Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as social work, may be granted advanced standing in the program.
- All applicants are required to submit a personal statement and two letters of reference.
Language Proficiency Requirements:
Domestic Applicants:
- Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency by achieving a minimum score on one of the following tests:
- TOEFL iBT: 88 overall with a minimum of 22 in each section
- IELTS Academic: 7.0 overall with a minimum of 6.5 in each section
- CAEL: 70 overall with a minimum of 60 in each section
- PTE Academic: 65 overall with a minimum of 59 in each section
International Applicants:
- Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency by achieving a minimum score on one of the following tests:
- TOEFL iBT: 90 overall with a minimum of 22 in each section
- IELTS Academic: 7.5 overall with a minimum of 7.0 in each section
- CAEL: 75 overall with a minimum of 65 in each section
- PTE Academic: 67 overall with a minimum of 61 in each section
Exemptions:
- Applicants who have completed a degree at a recognized university in a country where English is the official language of instruction are exempt from submitting English language proficiency test scores.
- Applicants who have completed at least two years of full-time study at a recognized university in Canada are exempt from submitting English language proficiency test scores.
- Applicants are encouraged to submit their English language proficiency test scores as early as possible, as the processing of applications may be delayed if scores are not received in a timely manner.
