  • Customization: Students can choose courses from more than 100 disciplines and certificate programs offered by UFV.
  • Transfer Credits: Up to 45 transfer credits from other academic, applied, and professional programs can be integrated into the General Studies diploma.
  • Career Advancement: Credits earned in the General Studies diploma can be applied to UFV's Bachelor of Integrated Studies, Bachelor of Science, or Bachelor of Arts programs, provided lower-level requirements are met.
  • Co-operative Education: Students can alternate study semesters with paid work placements through the Co-operative Education program to gain relevant experience.
