Program Overview
The UFV Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma is a one-year program designed for students who have already earned an ECE certificate at UFV or elsewhere. The program is designed to fit around a daytime work schedule, with all core courses offered in the afternoons and evenings. The program includes a practicum that provides students with work experience in their area of specialty, consisting of a 26-hour seminar and 200 hours of field work, which may be scheduled during daytime hours.
