Entry Requirements:


Domestic Students:

  • NCEA:
  • University Entrance (UE) or equivalent
  • 14 credits in each of three approved subjects
  • Literacy: 10 credits at Level 2 or above in English, including 5 credits in reading and 5 credits in writing
  • Numeracy: 10 credits at Level 1 or above in Mathematics
  • Subject specific requirements:

  • 14 credits at Level 3 in Calculus
  • Physics:
  • 14 credits at Level 3 in Physics
  • Chemistry:
  • 14 credits at Level 3 in Chemistry

All applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency by achieving a minimum score on one of the following tests:
