Program Overview

The New Zealand Diploma in Ambulance Practice equips students with the knowledge and skills to become Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs). Delivered through a blended format of online learning and block courses, the program emphasizes simulation-based learning and clinical placements to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and practical skills. Graduates are prepared to meet the Authority to Practice (ATP) for EMTs in New Zealand and pursue careers in ambulance services and other healthcare settings.
