Program Overview

Bachelor of Arts (BA), Christian Studies: Biblical Studies

Program Overview

The Christian Studies: Biblical Studies concentration trains you to approach the Bible with reverence, study it with skill, and communicate it with power. You’ll take seven courses in this concentration: two courses that cover Greek, two that cover Hebrew, and three where you can choose between learning about the Old Testament and the New Testament. You’ll gain skills churches and ministries need, and you’ll learn to be a student of the Word who can teach others how to interpret the Bible. This major could lead to a career as a pastor, youth minister, or Christian educator.

  • Incredible Student Community: The students in your program are passionate about the gospel. They aren’t concerned about competition. When you join the Biblical Studies concentration, you join a family of people who love Scripture as much as you do.
  • Devoted Faculty: Your professors are as dedicated to the Word as they are to the ministries that benefit from it. They want your immersion in the Word to result in you making an impact for the Kingdom.
