Program Overview

In the Cybersecurity and Mathematics program, you'll explore the logical relationship between cybersecurity and mathematics as you learn cryptography, discrete math, statistics, linear programming, network security, ethical hacking, cloud security, and more. Your expertise in these areas will help you keep critical data—from financial institutions to hospitals to the government—secure. You'll also learn technology and tools that are in demand in the marketplace, including Kali Linux, Wireshark, the Nmap security scanner, and the Python computer language. You'll be prepared to earn professional certifications after graduation, including Security+ and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

  • Transcript Required: Official high school or GED transcripts will need to be submitted as part of the application process for this program. Transfer students must submit official transcripts from their previous school.
  • Additional Admission Requirements: Two essays (prompts) or official SAT, ACT, or CLT scores are required during the application process.
  • Application Deadline: Anderson University has a rolling admission process (students are notified when they are accepted whenever that is during the year) but students are encouraged to apply by the following dates: December 1st for the best scholarship consideration and no later than July 1st to begin in the fall semester.
