Program Overview

Belmont University's Music Therapy Program is a four-year undergraduate program that combines academic coursework with clinical training. Students choose a preferred instrument of study and complete 145 hours of coursework, including music therapy, music, and general electives. The program prepares students for the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT) exam and careers in various settings, including medical hospitals, psychiatric facilities, and public schools.
