- The program begins by introducing core concepts of bioinformatics, including Linux and Perl programming, genetics, transcriptomics, data structures, and algorithms. Entry Requirements:
For undergraduate programs:
- General requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum GPA of 2.75 (recommended)
- Completion of 4 units of English, 3 units of mathematics, 3 units of history/social studies, and 3 units of science
For specific programs:
- BA in History:
- Completion of the above general requirements
- Completion of 2 years of a foreign language
- BA in History with Public and Digital History Concentration:
- Completion of the above general requirements
- BA in History (Combined BA/MBA):
- Completion of the above general requirements
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 (recommended)
- Completion of GMAT or GRE
- Completion of the required courses for the BA in History
- BA in History with Teacher Certification in Elementary School Teacher in Grades K-6:
- Completion of the above general requirements
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Completion of the required courses for the BA in History and the Teacher Certification Pre-Professional Sequence, Elementary Ed Professional Sequence, and Clinical Sequence/Student Teaching courses

- HIST 111: Study of History
