Admission Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0.
  • Completion of a criminal background check and fingerprinting.

Additional requirements for students whose undergraduate major is not in education:

  • Completion of prerequisite courses in the areas of education fundamentals, educational psychology, and child development.
  • A bachelor's degree in any field.
  • A minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.75.
  • Completion of a criminal background check and fingerprinting.
  • Completion of the Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educators test or qualifying scores on the SAT or ACT.

For international students:

  • Official transcripts translated into English.

Language Proficiency Requirements:


For all programs:
