Program Overview

The Minor in Polymer Science and Engineering from Armour College of Engineering provides students with a foundation in polymer synthesis, processing, and design. The program includes coursework in polymerization reaction engineering, polymer chemistry laboratory, and polymer character and analysis. Graduates are prepared for careers in the chemical engineering industry, where they will be able to meet the demand for engineers who understand the chemical and mechanical properties of polymers, plastics, and composites.
