- Letter of recommendation from prospective mentoring superintendent supporting application, and indicating willingness to serve as mentor
- Statement of Purpose: A letter of intent stating:
- Goals and objectives as a district-level leader
- How understanding of diversity relates to improving learning for all students, including experiences related to student diversity
