Program Overview

The Child Health (PgCert) program at the University of Glasgow provides trainees in Scotland with basic academic training in pediatrics, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to meet the General Medical Council / RCPCH Level 2 Framework of Competencies for Training in Paediatrics. This part-time program typically takes two years to complete, covering core topics in pediatrics through a blended learning approach combining on-campus and online elements. Graduates are eligible for Level 3 specialist training in pediatrics and are well-positioned for successful careers in a variety of pediatric settings.
