Introduction to the Sustainable Energy MSc Program
The Masters in Sustainable Energy is an interdisciplinary program designed to equip students for employment within the international energy sector. This program addresses all key aspects of sustainable energy, from advanced technologies to ethical and economic considerations.
Program Structure

Deposits
International and EU applicants are required to pay a deposit of Ł2,000 when an offer is made.

Entry Requirements
- 2.1 Hons (or non-UK equivalent) in any Engineering discipline or Physical Sciences/Mathematics degree, with modules in Engineering Maths and/or Maths at an average grade of pass.
- Extensive work experience may be considered in addition to academic content for those who fall just below the degree requirements.
- International students with academic qualifications below those required should contact Glasgow International College.
English Language Requirements
For applicants from non-English speaking countries, the University sets a minimum English Language proficiency level, which can be met through various tests, including IELTS, TOEFL, Pearsons PTE Academic, Cambridge Proficiency in English, and others.
Alternatives to English Language Qualification
- Degree from a majority-English speaking country.
- Undergraduate 2+2 and 3+1 degrees from a majority-English speaking country.
