Overview
The Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA) is a two-year, fully accredited course that focuses on the theories, methods, and practice of landscape architecture. It equips students for practice in a landscape-related discipline.
What You'll Learn
The course builds on the university's world-leading research and practice in environment, sustainability, and landscape architecture. Students will gain specialist knowledge in areas such as site-planning, land modeling, landscape construction, planting design, and visualization. The course also covers pressing contemporary issues, including the climate crisis, social justice, and rapid urbanization.

Tuition fees for 2026 entry are £7,600 for home students and £17,650 for international students in the first year, and £11,400 for home students and £26,500 for international students in the second year. Scholarships are available, including a 25% discount on international fees for EU students.
Entry Requirements
Applicants require a 2:1 honors degree or international equivalent in any subject, and a demonstrable aptitude for the profession of landscape architecture through submission of a design portfolio. English language requirements include IELTS, Pearson, or Duolingo English Test.
