Degree Overview
The Doctor of Nursing Practice Completion clinical track is designed for advanced practice nurses who already hold master's degrees in nursing and national certification as nurse practitioners, nurse anesthetists, nurse midwives, or clinical nurse specialists. The program focuses on enhancing the student's ability to translate evidence-based knowledge to clinical practice. Program tracks range from 30-32 credit hours post-master's and include practicum hours focused on adding depth to the nurse's area of practice. The DNP empowers the advanced practice nurse to:
