Program Overview

This noncredit program prepares students to become Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) for employment in ambulance services, fire departments, hospitals, or rescue services. Students complete two core courses and may take an elective to enhance their skills. Upon passing the National Registry of EMTs (NREMT) exam, graduates are eligible for employment as EMTs and can pursue further advancement in public safety careers.
