Program Overview

The Associate in Science in Early Childhood Education for Transfer prepares students for transfer to a CSU to complete a Baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education or related majors. The program emphasizes child development theory, developmentally appropriate approaches, and instructional strategies that promote children's learning and development. Students explore the California Title 22 regulations, standards, and policies required for early care and education programs, as well as ethical guidelines, professional practices, and advocacy.
