Program Overview
The Level 2 Certificate in Administrative Assistant prepares students for clerical roles requiring advanced word processing and written communication skills. It builds upon the Level 1 coursework and includes courses in business communications, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint. Entry Requirements:
Basic Requirements:
- GCSE: Grade C/4 in English and Mathematics, or equivalent.
Academic Requirements:
- HND or Foundation Degree (or equivalent): You should hold an HND or Foundation Degree (or equivalent), or have successfully completed a course which is equivalent to the first two years of a UK honours degree (240 UK credit points (120 ECTS credits)) in Accounting and Finance.
- English Language Requirements: International and EU applicants are required to have a minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 with no more than one component at 5.5 (or approved equivalent).
- Equivalents: The university accepts a large number of UK and International Qualifications in place of IELTS. You can find details of acceptable tests and the required grades in the English Language section.
