Program Overview

The Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) program at Mt. San Antonio College prepares students for careers in the growing field of unmanned aircraft systems. The program covers piloting, mission planning, risk management, sensing operations, data collection and analysis, and other related skills. Students may pursue the FAA remote pilot operator certificate alongside the A.S. degree through coursework, simulation, and flight training. The program includes required courses in aviation careers, primary pilot ground school, aviation weather, federal aviation regulations, unmanned aircraft systems basic and advanced, and basic digital and film photography.
