Program Overview

The Associate in Arts in Sociology for Transfer degree provides students with a foundation in the scientific study of human relations and social structures. Through sociological theories and research, students explore social inequality, social change, and the influence of social forces on individual and group behavior. The program prepares students for seamless transfer to a CSU major in Sociology and a variety of specializations in the field.
