Program Overview

The Political Science AA-T degree introduces students to political science theories and methodologies, preparing them for transfer to a CSU major in Political Science. The program covers American government, comparative politics, political theory, and international relations, with a focus on developing critical thinking, research, and analytical skills. Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of political institutions, processes, and theories, enabling them to pursue careers in government, law, public policy, and other related fields.
