Program Overview

The Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources (BS) program at the University of Connecticut is an interdisciplinary major that allows students to tailor their education to their interests in agriculture, environmental sciences, or health. Students can choose from a wide range of courses in multiple departments to create a personalized program that meets their educational and career goals. The program requires a minimum of 24 credits in CAHNR departments, including at least 3 credits from each of four distinct departments. Graduates of the program are prepared for careers in diverse fields including agriculture, health, environmental sciences, research, and education.
