Program Overview

The Diploma in Records and Information Management from Open Polytechnic equips students with the knowledge and skills to manage information within organizations as evidence and an asset. This online program covers topics such as information systems, access and retrieval, security and privacy, governance and compliance, and research skills. Upon completion, graduates are prepared for careers in records management, information management, archiving, and related fields.

This program will provide you with a practical and strategic understanding of:

• The creation and use of physical and digital records, archives, and other types of organizational information.
• Managing organizational information in ways that address business, governance, research, and storage requirements.
