Entry Requirements for domestic students:

  • Completion of a New Zealand National Certificate in Computing (Level 4) or equivalent
  • Completion of another relevant Level 4 programme or relevant industry experience (5 years+)

  • Applicants must show evidence of computer literacy

Entry Requirements for international students:

  • Equivalent international qualification:
  • Completion of a qualification deemed equivalent to the New Zealand National Certificate in Computing (Level 4)
  • Completion of another relevant Level 4 programme or relevant industry experience (5 years+)
  • English language requirements:
  • If English is not your first language, you must provide evidence of proficiency in English.
  • Accepted English language tests and minimum scores include:
  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS): 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each band.
  • TOEFL Internet-based test (iBT): 80 and 19 in each section.
  • Pearsons Test of English (Academic): 58 overall with a minimum of 50 in each section.
