Admission Requirements

  • Work and Life Experience:
  • Relevant paid or unpaid experience in the education and training industry, demonstrating skills and knowledge equivalent to a Level 4 qualification in this area.

International Entry Requirements: Non-NZ Students

  • Academic Entry:
  • Completion of a Level 4 equivalent qualification from an overseas institution, as recognized by NZQA.
  • English language proficiency demonstration, with an acceptable score on one of the following tests: IELTS (Academic), Pearson Test of English (Academic), TOEFL iBT.

OR

  • Work and Life Experience:
  • A relevant Bachelor’s degree or a higher-level qualifications from an overseas institution, and relevant paid or unpaid work experience in the education and training industry, demonstrating skills and knowledge equivalent to a Level 4 qualification in this area.
  • English language proficiency demonstration is also required with the acceptable tests and score details mentioned previously.
