Program Overview

The Medical Assisting Certificate Program at Seattle Central College is a fully accredited program that prepares students to become competent medical assistants. The program emphasizes both front and back office skills, including medical insurance, patient relations, coding, anatomy and physiology, and clinical skills. Students complete two practicums in medical clinics, gaining valuable real-world experience. The program prepares students for the Certified Medical Assistant National Exam and the Washington State level certification.
