Program Overview

Seattle Central College's Associate of Arts in Economics program prepares students for further study in economics at a four-year institution. The program emphasizes analytical, modeling, and communication skills, and covers key modules in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and quantitative methods. Graduates are well-prepared for careers in finance, business, government policy, marketing, and law. The program also offers a student-run Economics club and individualized educational planning support.
