Program Overview

The Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary (EFDA) Certificate program at Seattle Central College is a 9-month, full-time program that prepares students to become licensed EFDAs. The program combines classroom instruction with hands-on laboratory and clinical experiences, and culminates in a comprehensive licensure exam. Graduates are eligible to work in a variety of settings, performing restorative procedures such as placing and finishing fillings, crowns, and bridges.
