Program Overview

The Dental Hygiene BAS program at Seattle Central College prepares students for a rewarding career as a dental hygienist. The program consists of 195 credits of coursework and offers a variety of courses covering topics such as oral biology, dental radiology, and clinical dental hygiene. Students gain hands-on experience in the Dental Education Clinic under instructor supervision and are prepared for quick job placement in a competitive field. Graduates are qualified for Washington state Registered Dental Hygienist licensure examinations.
