Program Overview

Seattle Culinary Academy's Specialty Desserts & Breads Certificate Program offers comprehensive hands-on training in artisan bread-making, plated desserts, decorative cakes, pastries, and chocolate work. The program emphasizes sustainable practices and prepares students for careers as professional bakers or pastry chefs in restaurants, hotels, and other culinary settings. Accredited by the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation, the program takes approximately four quarters to complete full-time.
