Admission Requirements
Entry Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree: Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
- GPA: Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, or a 3.25 GPA over the last 60 hours of coursework.
- GRE scores: Applicants may submit official GRE scores. The recommended scores are 150 verbal, 142 quantitative, and 4.0 writing.
- Mental health casework or field experience: Applicants may also be considered for admission based on their mental health casework or field experience, as evaluated by their resume or vita and outstanding recommendations from other professionals. A minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale is required for consideration under this criterion.
- Interview: Applicants who meet the initial requirements may be invited for an interview with program faculty.
Conditional Admission:
- Applicants who show potential for successful graduate work but have low scholastic standing may be granted conditional admission.
- Conditionally admitted students must earn a grade of B or higher in each of the first 12 credit hours of the program.
- Conditionally admitted students who meet the grade requirement must request full admission status upon completion of 4 courses.
