The International Business program at StFX offers students an immersive experience that helps them develop adaptability, communication skills, cultural intelligence, and a global mindset. The program includes an option to complete an international exchange at one of our global partner institutions.

About International Business

The International Business program helps students experience the interconnectedness of the world and gain a global perspective while providing them with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in an international business environment. Employers continuously seek candidates with a global perspective as well as critical thinking, language, and communications skills.

First year at a glance

In your first and second year, you will take core courses shared among each of the Faculty of Business disciplines. This will allow you to build a strong foundation and explore what the various disciplines have to offer.

Future opportunities

There are many post graduate education and training opportunities available to International Business graduates, including:

• CITP designation (Certified International Trade Professional) from Forum on Trade Training (FITT)
• MBA (Master’s in Business Administration) degree
• MPA (Master’s in Public Administration)
• Master of International Business
• International Business diploma Bachelor of Law (LLB; LLM)

Originally founded by Bishop John Cameron as Mount Saint Bernard College, this building possesses a rich history dating back to 1883. Those in residence at Mount Saint Bernard can enjoy such amenities as lounge and study space, laundry facilities, and storage rooms.
