Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:


Domestic Students:

  • High School Diploma:
  • Applicants require six Grade 12 university preparatory courses, including:
  • English
  • Mathematics (minimum of Pre-Calculus 12 or equivalent)
  • One other lab science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or any other lab science approved by the Faculty of Science)
  • Social Studies (History, Law, Political Science, Sociology, etc.)
  • Two other approved academic subjects
  • Mature Students:
  • Applicants who have been out of high school for at least two years and do not meet the high school requirements may be considered for admission through the Mature Student pathway.
  • Applicants must demonstrate academic readiness through various means, such as acceptable performance on the Canadian Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE), successful completion of university-level courses, or completion of a recognized post-secondary program.
  • Transfer Students:
  • Applicants who have completed post-secondary studies at another recognized institution may be eligible for transfer credit towards the Bachelor of Business Administration program.
  • The amount of transfer credit awarded will be determined on a case-by-case basis, depending on the courses completed and the institution attended.

International Students:

  • High School Diploma:
  • Applicants require an equivalent to a Canadian high school diploma with strong academic performance.
  • Specific requirements may vary depending on the applicant's country of origin.
  • English Language Proficiency:
  • All international applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency by achieving the minimum required score on one of the following tests:
  • TOEFL iBT: 88 overall with a minimum of 20 in each section
  • IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in each section
  • PTE Academic: 65 overall with a minimum of 59 in each section
  • CAE/CPE: Grade C with a minimum of 180 in each skill area
  • Duolingo English Test: 120 overall

Additional Notes:

  • Applicants with strong academic records but who do not meet all the specific course requirements may be considered for admission on a case-by-case basis.

Language Proficiency Requirements: As mentioned above, all international applicants whose first language is not English must meet the minimum English language proficiency requirements outlined in the previous section.
