Film and TV production is a practice-based course that combines film and media theory with practical taught modules.

  • Financial Hardship: Students can apply to the Dennis Turner Opportunity Fund for help with course related costs however this cannot be used for fees or to cover general living costs.

Advanced JavaScript with ReactJS and NextJS Short Course


Degree Overview:

This short course, designed for individuals with existing JavaScript experience, aims to refine their skills by delving into advanced JavaScript concepts. Participants will focus on constructing intricate scripts and applications. Completion of the introductory JavaScript short course or a solid grasp of JavaScript fundamentals is a prerequisite for enrollment.

Assessment:

Evaluation will incorporate informal elements guided by the tutor, including:

  • Proactive participation in question and answer sessions
  • Upon attaining attendance of over 70% of the classes, participants will be awarded an official City, University of London certificate. This course, however, does not hold formal accreditation.

  • Aris actively organizes tech meetups and contributes to the JavaScript community. He boasts expertise in a vast array of programming languages like .NET, PHP, Java, and JavaScript. His academic achievements include two master's degrees and a first degree from the University of Sunderland. Additionally, Aris is a recent graduate of City's postgraduate program in Academic Practice.
