- This module explores relevant theories, concepts, policies, and overarching principles that underpin a holistic understanding of long-term conditions delivery in England. Contemporary systems and models of healthcare delivery will be explored and applied to enhance the overall experience of patients and carers. Students will be expected to develop skills of academic inquiry and apply critical thinking through a case study approach within their own practice.
- Service Improvement Project

- This module aims to enable and encourage students to collaborate with others in the health and social care setting to improve the delivery of healthcare services for the benefit of patients and clients. You will be encouraged to critically consider areas of practice for quality improvement within the healthcare setting and undertake a project focused on improving the quality of service and patient/staff experience. Throughout the module, you will be supported to establish a model, method, tools and processes to underpin the service improvement project. As part of the implementation of the project, you will need to manage the change process and lead a team of people contributing to your project. An evaluation of the effectiveness of the service improvement process will be presented in a poster.

- You must be employed in a healthcare setting in the United Kingdom (UK).

Other Requirements
- Applicants will need to demonstrate that on entry to the programme they have capability for digital and technological literacy to meet course outcomes. Evidence of digital literacy and technological literacy capability will therefore be aligned to the online application process.
