Program Overview

The Medical Laboratory Science program at St. Lawrence College is a three-year Ontario College Advanced Diploma program that prepares graduates for a career as a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT). The program focuses on the theoretical and practical aspects of medical laboratory science, including analysis of blood, body fluids, and tissues, performance of diagnostic tests, and detection and identification of diseases. Graduates are eligible to write the general certificate exams of the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science and have a high rate of employment in the field.
