Program Overview

The Child and Youth Care program at St. Lawrence College prepares students to work with children, youth, and families facing challenges. Through a blend of theory and experiential learning, students develop skills in communication, intervention, and relationship building. Graduates are eligible for diverse career opportunities in settings such as schools, group homes, and community organizations. The program emphasizes self-care and reflective practice for CYC professionals.
