Program Overview

This program equips individuals working in dementia care with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to provide quality care. It covers topics such as dementia overview, enhanced care strategies, ethics and legalities, communication strategies, and a capstone project. Graduates are prepared for careers in dementia care, including personal support work, nursing, social work, and research. The program is offered part-time, online, and is accredited by the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing.
