Program Overview

The Personal Support Worker (PSW) Program at St. Lawrence College is a 1-year full-time program that prepares students for careers providing personal care and support services to individuals and their families in various settings. The program combines theoretical instruction with over 400 hours of supervised clinical placements, equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and experience needed for a successful career as a PSW. Graduates are eligible to write the national certification exam to become Registered Personal Support Workers (RPNs) in Ontario.
