This program provides a comprehensive education in media production, equipping students with the skills and knowledge to excel in various creative industries. Through coursework, presentations, and practical work, students develop a solid foundation in theoretical, technical, and practical aspects of media. The program offers optional placement and international experience years, and features extensive facilities including a radio studio, editing suites, and an arts and innovation center.

  • The aim is to give you the confidence and self-reliance to excel and adapt to an exciting field which is always on the move.
  • Students will develop skills and techniques to produce media material as well as essential key skills for many of the creative industries.
  • This course will equip you with a solid grounding in the theoretical, technical and practical skills required to make you a sought-after professional in these fields.
  • Modules are assessed by coursework, presentations and essays and also offer the opportunity to submit practical work.
  • This course is available with a Placement Year option where you will study for 1 additional year.
  • This course is available with an International Experience Year option where you will study or work abroad for 1 additional year.
  • As you progress through the degree, much of your study will be done in small teaching groups with an emphasis on learning both group work skills and the ability to carry a piece of work through yourself from initial concept to completion.
  • The aim is to give you confidence, critical skills, strategic acumen, adaptability and potential to thrive in a range of media work environments and become a sough-after professional in a competitive field.
