Program Overview


This CPD course explores the business priorities and regulatory requirements for manufacturers, aircraft owners, operators, and maintenance organizations in the aviation industry. It covers topics such as airline operational demands, aircraft maintenance economics, and strategic approaches to maintenance management. Led by an experienced industry professional, the course aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of maintenance employees in junior and middle management positions.

Program Outline


Degree Overview:


The course will allow you to:

  • Formulate the demands and priorities of the airline operational environment
  • Understand the demands placed on aircraft maintenance through requirements for airline, airport, and international operations
  • Analyze the economics of aircraft maintenance and how to drive efficiency and effectiveness

Outline:


The course will be delivered over three days, with the following schedule:

  • Day 1: Defining and discussing the roles and responsibilities of the regulators, manufacturers, owners, operators, and maintenance organizations with respect to aircraft engineering and maintenance.
  • Day 2: Critically analyzing how an aircraft maintenance program is created and structured.
  • Day 3: Synthesizing strategic approaches to managing the various maintenance levels: operational, scheduled, and major.
  • Identifying the key deliverables from aircraft maintenance managers.

Assessment:

Upon completion, they will receive a certificate of participation.


Teaching:


The course will be led by Mr. Emre Eroktem, who has over 20 years of experience in the aviation industry.

Guest speakers from the business aviation world will also share their expertise.
