Students concentrate on a chosen clinical area that serves as an exemplar case throughout the course which includes:

- Learning disability
- Cerebral palsy Within this chosen case, students develop an understanding of:
- Assessment
- Diagnosis
- Design of a treatment program
- Providing intervention rationale The final case selection depends on a majority decision amongst participants considering a critical mass requirement is necessary between three to five participants working within any given case. Ultimately participants acquire an intricate understanding of clinical theory and management in their chosen area alongside an enhanced adeptness to apply conceptual frameworks including:

Introductory teaching methods consist of a lecture followed by tutorial sessions, each facilitated equally between a tutor facilitated portion, and a student self-directed segment. Through this approach with a tutor, participants attain expertise in their designated clinical area via deliberation and dialogue opportunities arising around their research in that specific case while self-guided time grants students an avenue for group engagement focused upon small group dialogue for problem investigation and analysis

Individual Self-Assessment Report
A separate self-assessment is assigned individually outlining areas of growth including strengths and weaknesses through a detailed report
Case Report Presentation
A collaborative (group focused) presentation showcasing concepts learned that demonstrates their real world application towards the patient case which they are managing (group) A detailed self-assessment to gauge strengths along with areas that they wish to prioritize during the developmental stage (individual).
