Program Overview

The PG Cert Prescribing Studies from the University of Wolverhampton is a 60-credit program designed for registered pharmacists with clinical experience. It equips students with the knowledge and skills to become independent prescribers, allowing them to practice safely and effectively in various healthcare settings. The program is delivered part-time over six months and includes a blend of lectures, workshops, simulations, and self-directed learning. Upon successful completion, graduates will have their name annotated on the GPhC register, enabling them to practice as independent and supplementary prescribers.
