Program Overview
The New Venture Creation Program is a 4-day, highly experiential program designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to develop and launch their own businesses. Led by Professor Costas Andriopoulos, the program covers various aspects of new venture creation, including business idea development, academic underpinning, and entrepreneurial skills. Participants will gain valuable insights and practical skills that they can apply to their own business ventures.
Program Outline
Teaching:
- Highly experiential: The program involves joining current students for the Bayes an Executive MBA for part of the program.
- Mixture of formats: The program includes lectures, guest speaker presentations, and group discussions.
- Case studies and exercises: Participants will use case studies and exercises to understand how concepts can be applied in specific strategic situations.
- Active participation: Participants are expected to analyze concepts from cases and actively participate in class discussions and peer-to-peer learning.

- Ideal candidates: Applicants typically have a business idea but few business skills. A UK upper second class degree or above or an equivalent from an overseas institution is required. Individuals with at least 3 years of experience in a corporate or startup environment or a technical background who have serious ambition to start their own business are encouraged to apply.
