MA Photography Programme

Overview

The MA Photography programme at Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI) is an 18-month interdisciplinary programme designed to enhance research prowess, nurture a compelling visual communication style, and enable specialisation within a chosen discipline.

Programme Structure

The programme consists of three terms of study and six months dedicated to a dissertation. The first two terms include lectures and seminars, while the third term focuses on developing the MA project.

Defining Your Practice

This unit provides a structured framework to investigate methods, ideas, and themes in the discipline, helping to inform and locate practice.

Context and Method

Through lectures and seminars, students engage in current debates, providing cultural and intellectual context for considering ideas in visual communication.

Project Development

Students develop the themes and focus of their final project, evaluating and testing the aims of their proposal over a sustained period of self-directed study.

Realisation and Dissemination

Students apply knowledge and experience gained in previous units to the realisation of their final MA project, demonstrating coherence and innovation at a professional level.

Entry Requirements

• Minimum Age: 21
• Academic Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of a bachelor's degree from a recognised university
  • Consideration will also be given to applicants with a minimum of three years of relevant managerial experience, demonstrating an ability to study at postgraduate level.

• Your portfolio is a collection of your best work, showcasing what inspires you, how you develop your work, and your creative thinking processes.
• Upload up to 12 pieces of work, which can include audio or video files.
