Program Overview

The Master of Public Policy (M.P.P.) program at UMBC is a 37-credit program designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to analyze public policy issues, develop policy solutions, and manage public organizations. The program offers five core courses, three foundation courses, four specialization courses, and an optional thesis. Graduates pursue careers in government, non-profit organizations, international organizations, consulting firms, and research institutions.
