Program Overview

The M.S. in Environmental Engineering program at UMBC provides a comprehensive education in environmental engineering principles and practices. Through coursework, laboratory work, and research projects, students develop the skills and knowledge necessary for careers in environmental consulting, engineering, project management, and research. The program offers both thesis and non-thesis options, and graduates are well-prepared to enter the workforce or pursue further study at the doctoral level.
