Program Overview

The Human-Centered Computing Master's program at UMBC focuses on the design and development of user-centered systems. The program consists of 30 credits, including core courses in user interface design, human-centered computing, and systems analysis. Students can choose from three options to complete their remaining credits: elective courses, independent study, or a Master's thesis. The program prepares graduates for careers in human-computer interaction, user experience design, and related fields.
