Program Overview

The Management of Aging Services, B.A. at UMBC prepares students for entry-level professional positions in the field. The program combines a liberal arts foundation with key areas of knowledge in human aging, management skills, and policy issues. Students complete core courses and electives, including an internship and capstone seminar, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the field. Graduates are well-prepared for careers in senior centers, home care agencies, and other organizations serving older adults.
